Black-eyed Susan, Pounded

Flower Pounding is basically a means to transfer the color and shape of flowers (I used some frozen) on paper or fabric to decorate, for example, a card or scarf or whatever. The flowers are pounded into the substrate with a hammer, so that the dyes of the flowers or plant pigments kind of print into it.

Experimenting a little with this, I found it a bit violent towards the flowers. I started making some kind of sampler, then ended up more like painting a white silk scarf with the flower juices.
