Experiment with Banana Peels

Banana peels are a ubiquitous "waste" material in our household. Why not use them to test them and see how they hold up?

The results: great! This "leather" is flexible, you can cut and sew it, just like leather!

I'm planning to make larger pieces, and make book covers from them. Like those beautiful leather book covers artists have made throughout ages.

I am curious how it will hold up in time 😊!
