Plants (and insects) from our garden are what I use most in my eco-dyeing. Solid dyes are usually done in a vat – or a large container.
Eco-printing – whether on paper or on fabric – needs heat, pressure, and time. Solid dyeing – depending on the plant source – needs time and temperature.
